A lot of the best storms around here are under-forecasted, and they typically originate close to home, so they don't weaken by the time they reach us.

Anyone have the info from Hail south of us yesterday...the largest size reported? Walnut sized(Shell on obvi) Golfball Size? Navel Oranges sized?

This event completely busted down in Oregon/W Washington. There was one supercell that developed but it impacted the middle of nowhere in the cascades.
Too much dry air at the midlayers prevented any verticle development and most areas saw no hail.
