25 mm in Cowichan Bay! Wondering if my rain gauge needs calibrating but it really did rain quite a bit overnight and this morning. I see North Cowichan had 16 mm.
Seems high but there were some good downpours. I had 14.5mm in my manual gauge and 15.2mm in the Davis. So pretty similar to north cowichan
Edit. I see some private stations showing 20-30mm in the salt spring island to Duncan area. Your 25mm could be legit.

I ended up with 16.5 mm of rain overnight through early this morning. So far my June total is 52.8 mm. Looks like that may be all I get this month.

That was about as refreshing as an ice cold lemonade on a hot day! Hoping for some more showers then a nice long weekend
You know the old saying snowman when your given lemons make lemonade.

Quite rainy here at Rolley Lake in east Maple Ridge camping. I woke up due to the rain and dripping trees on my trailer.
Must be pouring in Victoria according to the radar.
Enjoy your camping adventure Ty my man mine is next week can hardly wait.

Let me see, you don't have young kids , you don't fish , there's no swimming or hiking at Kentucky lake , so what's the fascination with camping there? Roasting marshmallows and wieners ? Standup paddleboarding? I personally would get bored if I wasn't fishing and/or hiking. I realize some people are quite content with just reading a book by the campfire all day long...not for me.
Actually maybe there is a trail along one side of the lake.

Wait... so there was actually a Severe Thunderstorm Warning* for Abbotsford yesterday evening? As far as I know, not a rumble of thunder was observed, let alone anything severe. Fail.
*A warning means that severe thunderstorms are either imminent or occurring.
