From this vantage point, it appeared that areas to the west and south saw a bit of sun today?

We enjoyed more drizzle around here!

A truly Coquitlam classic! :tiredos:

Looking forward to (hopefully) the upcoming pattern featuring dry, coolish air with sunshine.

00z GEM spills a lot more cold air west of the Rockies next weekend compared with the 00z GFS. More significant backdoor cold shot.

Trough digs far to the SW, eventually into Southern California with much needed showers and low snow levels for them. A touch of modified arctic air also makes it way west of the Sierra range with freezing temps at sea level making their way as far south as Los Angeles. Clown range stuff but that would be an insane wild swing in weather over there.

Euro has initial shot of backdoor cold with 850mb at -10c and then front door cold at the end of the run!
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Models are shifting the ridge further east each run. Should see plenty of +7 max and -1C nights after the initial shot of continential air!
