Wow. The GFS led the way on this one...from 8-9 days out. A major win for that model.

Still 3 days for this to bust.

It seems to do well with pattern changes. I still think the Euro leading up to an event is the gold standard.

The GFS has to get some credit for that. It led the way with heat wave event too. This is purely anecdotal, but it appears to sniff out pattern changes pretty well. It still struggles with details, but that's what the Euro is for. :shock:
