Worry about that later.

Snowing nicely in West Vancouver. Huh.

Western areas look to do well in this pattern. Fraser outflow seems to be eating those showers for a midmorning snack by the time they get much further south or east.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Questionable how far south that thing travels along the coast. Trough isn’t digging south that well but still potential

It appears that there are some cells approaching the airport area now. Hopefully you see something soon!

If so, will be a battle between the moisture and dry outflow that wants to eat it up.

I'm not sure if this was posted earlier, sorry if it has been.

There is an Arctic Outflow Warning for Metro Vancouver.
5:00 AM PST Wednesday 10 February 2021
Arctic outflow warning in effect for:

Metro Vancouver - central including the City of Vancouver Burnaby and New Westminster
Metro Vancouver - North Shore including West Vancouver and North Vancouver
Metro Vancouver - northeast including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge
Metro Vancouver - southeast including Surrey and Langley
Metro Vancouver - southwest including Richmond and Delta

Wind chill values ranging from minus 15 to minus 25 expected tonight.

Rising surface pressures over the BC interior will continue to drive arctic air through mainland valleys and inlets this week. Beginning tonight, frigid temperatures and stronger outflow winds are expected.

Temperatures will begin to rebound during the latter half of this week.

Minimize exposed skin with hats, scarves and mittens or gloves. Ensure that shelter is provided for pets and outdoor animals.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to BCstorm@canada.ca or tweet reports using #BCStorm.
