Also, I don’t think it’s high enough above sea level
I’m on your side, nature please. Skiing is a dying sport anyway at least for the middle class and with snow becoming less reliable. but it’s kind of difficult to tell First Nations they can’t develop their land after cultivating this entire province/country and extracting the wealth.

Back to weather I drove through a nice downpour on the way to work this morning. Things look to be green through July I’d say, barring a prolonged heat wave 👏

It appears that there is nothing too exciting on the horizon weather wise for the hot weather fans.

Perhaps some warmer weather way in the extended on the Euro?

All subject to change of course.

Meanwhile, the GFS keeps it to our S/SE (something we've seen recently) and then drops another :chilly: "Troff" over us.

And in dire years August or September will deliver. June has traditionally had conditions like this especially with La Nina conditions...have patience if you like the heat, it always comes through.

In the meantime, friggin guilt free campfires. What a treat!
Agreed. There will most likely be a heatwave of some sort in July.

I don't need 2021 hot, but I do need some less volatile, warmer temps for my tomatoes. These cold spells are terrible for the blossoms

Some very hot members showing up on the Euro ensembles. Details are still very much unknown but maybe our first summer heatwave?

I cannot remember a summer without a heat wave. Even the “bummer summer” of 1993 (may be off a year) had a short but intense heat wave.

Max of 15 here for the day, 8.6 mm of rain so far.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Skeptical as all the potential heatwaves in the long range for the last couple months have been severely watered down or not happened at all. Similar to the potential cold snaps we see in the long range during winter.

I'm skeptical as well for the same reasons but it's still worth keeping an eye on. It also provides content for me to post on here. :D

Agreed! I have a very small greenhouse and chose to put all but 2 of my tomatoes in the green house this year, glad I made that choice.

funnily enough though, I have 2 tomatillos outside to ensure they got pollinated and they are loving this weather :dunno:

looks 50/50 to me. Time will tell if we get more #patternlock or if we bust the cycle up some
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:
