Last 20c+ temp in March at the Pitt Meadows EC station was in 2019. That's when we were coming out that persistent cold snap dating back over a month to early February so it was pretty whacky to see snow piles still around with temps so warm.

Winter to summer in a week...like the interior..or more desert like climates
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

It's an hour and a half drive from winter to summer. Goldfield, NV, I was wearing my winter coat when I took this picture (5,500 ft elevation). An hour and a half later in Death Valley (-190ft elevation), everyone was wearing shorts because it was 80 degrees.

Probably about 5 degrees. With 70km/h winds so felt colder.

On our trip it snowed twice. Once in Oregon on the pass heading toward Idaho, and in Utah around Salt Lake City.

Hum, what do you mean? I do my own QC. The provincial record is 26.5°C. 30°C in March is almost impossible here in BC.
I think we could have 22-24°C like in 1994, 2004, 2016 and 2019.

For most people 27c is almost 30c.

And here's his post. " I remember at least 26 or 27"

Lol..who really cares about 3c difference in temps.
I cant find the historical records on EC site unfortunately..but was probably around 26c or 27c i guess..i honestly dont remember..it could have been higher too. It felt like summer for sure..i remember the bad sunburn

Anyhow..looks like an amazing stretch of ~20c sunny days in the valley coming up. Yesssssssssss
