Thanks Hound, always fun to have more. Just need an egg grog one now
I couldn't get onto the forum this evening for a short time, was it just me? Got a 500 internal server error. Do we have a backup gathering place to get more info and reconnect if this site goes down?

The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

Not familiar with RAP but HRRR is probably okay with stuff in the very short term like that.

No vegetables really “thrive†at those temps here, but you can start planting seeds at those temps. The leafy green vegetables would do the best, especially if the sun angles are getting higher.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 9:46 pm I need this fork to plant my veggies.
Mr Stuff, what thrives in +6C to +10C wet weather here?

As for a backup gathering place, we don't have one, except the front page of the site at bcstorms.ca where we could post info.
I noticed some slow downs on the forum, and I think Sardine did as well so maybe something is up. Perhaps this is a stuffradio type job to check out because he has access to the back end.

I can't say anything happened yet, but this is using shared hosting, so perhaps the server was being hit hard at the time on other websites. Is anyone seeing slowdowns still? The great thing about shared hosting is if the server goes down then the host will probably notice and restart it.Hound wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 6:29 am Well if anyone finds an emoticon/smiley with an extension .gif or .png they can post it and I can add it.

You did mention you or someone you know selling some land in that area. But it wasn’t your cabin.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
It could get stormy and windy. Maybe some slush bombs â„︠. Possibly interesting to track from a weather standpoint but yea, cold and wet.
I did think January would get cold this winter and it appears it will take a little longer than I was hoping/thinking but I do think it will round into form at some point.

Could be worse though. This is sometimes the summer forecast for Price Rupert.
