Today was a nice troffy day. Quite unstable appearance with some light flurries popping up. Low DPs..very cool day. Hope all my buds enjoyed it. :thumbup:
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year! :think:

0.9C here. We tend to mix out quickly when warm fronts slide in from the NW, like tomorrow. Should turn to rain in short order here Tuesday.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft

The 18Z 3km NAM begins light snow around 0700 local. Heavier bands of snow move through around 15-1600 local. It keeps precipitation as snow until almost 0200 Wednesday morning.

The 18Z Euro keeps precipitation as snow until midnight and then begins a slow transition from SW to NE.

Poco at sea level will probably see ~8-12cm. Expecting about 10-15cm here in East Coquitlam. We'll see...

Temps are dropping like a rock this evening under the clear skies. Was 3.7C two hours ago, down to 1.8C an hour ago...now sitting at 0.6C.

I was in Cranbrook last week. There was absolutely no snow on the ground when we left. I was expecting it to be more wintery there.
