He was live streaming earlier this evening B.C.'s best trucker. You should subscribe to his channel it's awesome you can chat with other weather geeks as well from down there and B.C. folks as well. Some of our forum members are on there as well.

willoughby hill will prolly score again..it always seems to do well in spite of the maps. Not sure why the maps never add totals to this area as a default considering the history of this snowy area. Same as Catnip Hill..but not as cold sadly :|

NAM 3km details (since this model has been accurate in the past). Happens in the morning tomorrow, and it’s likely wet snow not phantom snow based on temps and DP’s.

It's not really as intense as a tropical cyclone due to a more dispersed low pressure field and the lack of inner convection. The strongest winds with this extra-tropical cyclone are going to be higher up in the atmosphere rather than the surface. Should still get gusty close to the core of this low pressure with 110-120km/hr winds. Most of us will probably see gusts near 50-60km/hr.
