Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
When this pattern breaks it will break in a big way. AR and flooding is my prediction. Like 2003. I don't see it breaking until mid-October. The models are all over the place, there are typhoons in the Western Pacific that are not doing normal things in terms of their track. They're recurving but northward into Korea and Russia. That's screwing up the models. Look for a big Bering sea low to pump up a big ridge over the West coast until early October at least.. the drought continues. Just hope the salmon streams don't dry up that could be a disaster.

Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Yes! I'll take that, love the fog. As long as we have some good rain first.

Most of the Sunshine Coast is on severe water restrictions, no outside use of tap water at all, not even for watering a food garden. It's sad to see her normally gorgeous, lush, well cared for gardens dying. I'm looking after a friend's garden and she left me a multitude of containers filled with grey water from her bath, clothes washer, sink, etc. It's a lot but not much to last the week plus that they're gone so I'm hauling water with me. I have a well so I don't have those restrictions.

Looks beautiful and yes, like fall. Funny, that's what my friend is doing, cruise to Alaska, just left today. Know another couple cruising up there next week. Must be popular.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 9:54 pm Friend of mine is on an Alaskan cruise here's some pics from Juneau today fall is on the way.![]()

Re: September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
People have been doing this for a couple of years now because we run short on water and it seems to work.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 9:18 pm Yes your lucky with the well, what a nice neighbor you are Ms. Friendlyneighbourcreeks. Do you have some stand by plantsjust in case it goes south.

I had a lettuce go to seed and was thinking I should start some and plant the seedlings on the last day. Wouldn't that be a surprise!
