We all need to move to port Angeles.
Two years ago, I almost did. Even looked at a few properties in the area. That I knew a lot more people in Bellingham and Vancouver won me over to this area. Also the greater variety of arts and culture here.
PA doesn’t
always score big with the “strait effect†but they
really have a few times in recent years.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Snow levels could rise above 1000m at times this week. Overall though, it looks fairly seasonal (chilly at times in the mid and long range) and wet per the 12z ensembles. Definitely some chances at some wet snow/slushfalls.

Interior looks to stay chilly. Surface temps for Kamloops remain below freezing through the end of the run.

The classic inside slider after cold air is well established is my favourite.

Yeah, those are great for reloads with a fresh batch of arctic air coming from the interior.
Many times it's the Gulf of Alaska (NW) or inside slider (N/NW) lows that help to usher in the arctic air.

I was about to post that. Just your typical 969mb low off the coast of Washington.

Saturday-Sunday looks pretty dicey for those heading up to the mountains. Could be heavy snow turning to heavy rain and back to heavy snow in 24hrs.

Do not want to be on the Coq this weekend.
Finally some overrunning snow by Jan 09. Overall, very wet...potentially stormy with seasonal surface temps the next 7-10 days.

I wonder what the min temp at Seymour and Cypress is so far. -6C? It's been incredibly mild up there so far.
