Re: February 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
It's amazing how powerful the weekend storm. It hit so hard that the spillover made it all the way to Ashcroft. The Fraser canyon was particularly hard hit with over 77mm at Lytton and over 40 mm at Lillooet. Only 0.7 mm at Kamloops, however.
This is the driest stretch of the year for Kamloops. Hardly anything from now until May 8th.
NOTE: April is now the direst month of the year at Kamloops! It used to February or March depending on which 30 year period you look at, but never April...

20 to 30 cm here, even at sea level ? Well, I'll believe it when I see it...

Back in the 90's I recall a few years with snow on vday, one year was a significant snow fall, I can't remember which one.

Dry cold in the extended?
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Ended here too. I thought it was because they don't believe there will be much snow accumulation...might be a good thing with the way their snowfall warnings usually fail.

No that can't be it, they're going for 15 cm in the text forecast. They must be writing up the warning.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 4:03 pm Ended here too.
