Personally, for me It’s felt like summer for a while here. Temperatures have been around 24-27 degrees with lots of sun as of recent. Not heat wave criteria but it doesn’t take a heat wave for it to feel like summer in my opinion.
I base the summer on the Bones/Hound heat scale this year perhaps 2 too hot complaints last year they broke the scale l lost track Jr. Man.

The elusive big bump in the 850s is imminent, for possibly the hottest stretch of the summer?
However, signs of troffing are also present shortly thereafter, knocking temps back down again. Will the precip return? Or mostly marine clouds?
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

Hoping to see the Lower Mainland push past 100F!
I'll be traveling to Kamloops on Tuesday followed by Golden the day after... hopefully the long hot/dry stretch verifies.
It actually got hot in Sechelt, reaching 24.0 at 6 pm. Here my high was 18c, it definitely wasn't a warm day here.
Getting toasty by Monday, EC is calling for 29c...hopefully that will disappear like all those snowfalls and thunderstorms do. Too hot for me. The sheep don't like anything over 15c, but the horse and poultry (chickens and turkeys) don't mind the heat.

Absolutely stunning shots Ms. Colorfulcreeks yah that 17.9c would have been extra log on the fire and cocoa.
Thank you! It was even more impressive in person. Boring sky tonight, no clouds.
it is still Christmas in July, forgot about it until I turned the tv on tonight. My sister was here for a week so no time for tv.
