Thanks for asking Jr. We had to move her today to get MRI imaging at a hospital in van. From what we understand, she is stable. She is going to need pelvic surgery. The real concern here is that a CT scan revealed some irregularity in her spine between her neck and her shoulder. If its irrepairable then game over, but we're hopeful thats not the case. She has movement in all her paws and can feel pain.

This is obviously going to be costly AF but I have the fortune of being able to do some side hustling with my F-I-L's handyman company to earn most of it back. I'm desperately hoping that the first week of school is called off for a quarantine week because if all goes well, she'd be back at our place and pretty much immobile for two weeks. Then I could take the next week off and stay with her before she starts to get back to moving around on her own and I could hopefully go back to work.

She has survived the first 36 hours which is honestly the biggest thing and gives me hope. I know it seems insane to spend this kind of money on a doggie but its not just a doggie. She's a farm worker now. We've trained her with all the animals which is an exhausting feat especially with our lack of expertise. She actually has a number of issues we've been dealing with like weird psychological quirks that lots of aussie sheps have.

Anyways...I feel better right now than anytime since the accident so thanks everybody for your concern. I will try to update as things hopefully improve

Hopefully she can get through and recover soon.

Hey Ty my man were you able to Skype your family in the Hoof? how's the weather up there?

Not a lot of snow at their place. There was a lot in November but it melted in December and hasn't been replaced. However there's enough snow for Murray Ridge to open and last year it didn't open until the 29th of December. Quite a dry area there.

Merry Christmas everyone. This year's quite a bit different for all of us. I hope you were able to connect with your loved ones still digitally even if you couldn't meet in person. We can celebrate that vaccinations have started. Hopefully this will bring about the end of the pandemic. My sister almost got one but then ended up having to wait for a negative test after her unit at the hospital had an outbreak. Hopefully soon for her. I do know a few people sick right now, and one of them got it a second time less than a month after recovering from it and this time it's worse and she's normally quite healthy, athletic and in her 40's. Lots of people to pray for.

Technology sure made being apart from others this year much easier. Was nice to still be able to celebrate virtually.

Hmmm. NWS zone forecast for the North Cascades says snow level of 1,000' (300 m) on Tuesday night. But generally around 2,000–3,000' (600–900 m) for the next week.

Still cold and a lil snowy in the SIMIKAMEEN.
Got 2cm last night..a much more "normal" snowfall amount. Looks like another few cms again this afternoon.

Freezing levels dip to the surface, but no moisture. Most systems coming in bring a southerly wind ahead of it bringing mild air below 1000m with precip.

We are waiting till mid Jan at this point.
