If the low goes norrh....it will be because it is stronger, but a stronger low brings stronger outflow meaning dry.
That must be why the lower mainland has never seen snow in its entire history?

Yeah agreed. Would take a huge shift north to give us those 4+ inch amounts. Possible but highly unlikely

Strong arctic high with strong pressure gradients and weak systems tracking south....This is not a good setup for the LM.

Overrunning system this weekend from the NW is better for the LM.

GFS will be the GFS. Probably safe to add 6ËšF to those numbers.
