Alright, which one of you was bad this year? Fess up.
Santa has tinkered with the models. Pushing back any meaningful pattern change or cold in all models. Next week now looks a touch warmer with drizzle at times.

12z ensembles look mostly unchanged from previous runs. Interior still looks to be persistently chilly too.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 12:08 pm Alright, which one of you was bad this year? Fess up.

Cant really push back something that never really before hour infinity but yeah. I’m expecting zonal to dominate here for a while. I’m now on board with mid February so (cross my fingers) my pup can hopefully get around in it.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 12:08 pm Alright, which one of you was bad this year? Fess up.

Absolutely shocked my mom actually made it onto zoom but it’s honestly such a useful tool in this time of loneliness and hardship. I hope you all get to see your relatives and have as merry a Christmas as is possible.

I don't think we will have to wait until mid February for an arctic blast. I'm still going with mid-late January.PortKells wrote: ↑Fri Dec 25, 2020 12:36 pm Cant really push back something that never really before hour infinity but yeah. Hopefully we will start seeing some clown range GFS runs in the upcoming weeks as the SSW begins.

Merry Christmas all. Thankful for a white Christmas in the Wack, though it’s starting to melt now.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
This may be the first month where I have not seen the GFS or ECMWF advertise a clown range arctic blast on 00z or 12z runs.
Just goes to show how far modelling has come.
