I figured the heats coming back. And that is a good thing provided we get some rain relatively soon after.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 6:45 am 00z GFS ensembles:

Re: August 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
I'm surprised you think it's a good thing the heat is coming back. But I'm looking forward to it. While the rain was very refreshing, it will be nice to have one more round of summer weather before we hit the fall season. Especially since I expect this upcoming fall to be very wet.

I've always loved variable conditions. I wouldn't like 4 months of summer rain and I equally hate 30C every day with everything dying. Variable conditions are the best for gardening, for all plant/animal life and also gives everyone some weather they prefer.

EPS still onboard for a return of summer too. What we used to call Indian summers are top tier enjoyability: cool mornings, and the heat isn’t accompanied by the sun feeling like you’re right under a heat lamp.

Re: August 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
Ideally we get a nice stretch of late summer after a good soaking and that seems to be happening. I agree about cool mornings, and evenings as well. That is a game changer. I can enjoy some nice 27 C days knowing I can cool off and sleep when all is said and done.

Used to be my favorite time of year, before smoke season became a regular thing. If there's no smoke, I will savor it.

What was your favourite time of the year, Summer? September/October is pretty good if there is warmth during the day and crisp nights/mornings.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 11:40 am Used to be my favorite time of year, before smoke season became a regular thing.
