On the ECMWF. GFS and GEM don't look as extreme... yet.

That's much more concerning though for those who don't like the heat. While not perfect, the ECWMF is one of the most reliable models.

Marine layer days have definitely become few and far between. Maybe that is my confirmation bias at play, but even my wife was saying that the other day.

Nice summer climate, but definitely not enough yearly precip.

Prefer Mediterranean precip patterns, like we have here. Would be nice if it was more extreme with plentiful precip during the cool months and dry during the warm months coupled with a continental climate-like temps. Your cabin is between Princeton and Merritt, no? Same region so I'd guess temps there year-round are fairly comparable with Mazama.

Climate is much colder than here in the winter and much warmer in the summer. With precip almost completely concentrated between Oct and Apr, that'd be the perfect climate imo. Something close to this, perhaps: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stehekin,_Washington

Stehekin is a beautiful place. Been there once, about 30 years ago, would be nice to return some time.

Pretty good thunderstorm outbreak in the Willamette Valley right now. Been following the reports on the American forum. It’s working its way north, so hopefully it makes it here.
