Rainfall storm total @ the pond in south Sardis midnight to midnight. So far all the hype about a 4 day A.R. event has turned into a nothing burger in the central valley at least.
Friday 22nd: 17.2mm
Saturday 23rd: 32.2mm
Sunday 24th: 12.9mm
Monday 25th: 6.8mm
Certainly not much of a 4 day A.R. event that was all hyped up at least in the central valley.
In the 7 years l've lived out here l've come to one conclusion take the forecasts out here basically with a grain of salt.

Hi weather friends! Could someone who knows how to read the maps please tell me how this storm is looking like for Monday? Does it look similar to the Dec 2018 wind storm at all?
Windy app says gusts up to 118km for where I am on the gulf islands so I’d like to know if I should batten down the hatches.
I appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

I'm not an expert it looks much stronger state side on the maps l saw recently but where you are located probably at least gusts in the range 70kmh to 90kmh. Some one will post an update hopefully Washington/Oregon looks like ground zero like back in November 2024.

10.7°C in Vancouver YVR. It's the first double-digit since December 28 [11.3°C].
With 55 consecutive days with Tmax < 10°C, this is the 14th longest streak since records began and the longest in 12 years [57 days in 2012-13] but far from the all-time record [97 days].

We're about to blast through 25mm today @ the pond in south Sardis since midnight. I created a thread with my rainfall since Friday if anyone wants to put their storm total from Friday to Monday in there.

Looks like the AR is diving south. It hasn't rained here for hours. Western Washington getting most of the action with this one. They're expecting storm totals of over 10 inches in sone areas which is 250mm. Coupled with the high freezing levels that could mean some major flooding down there.
