Per the 06z GFS...ensemble mean 850mb temps drop to -14.5c early Friday AM at YVR. Operational dips to -16.3c.

Still seems to be quite the difference between the GFS and Euro solutions less than five days out.

Looks mostly cloudy.

Moisture blooming over VI and headed East.

Kuss on 1130 this morning talking many snow chances this week, especially for Saturday. He said significant accumulations possible for Saturday.

They also are bullish for snow heading into the weekend. Arctic outflow warnings likely to be posted this evening-- my guess anyway.

Ya it's just not the same without him. Greedy Rogers didn't want to pay him any more, so we all suffer thanks to that.
