0n a related note, further along, El Nino is forecast to peak in June/July and return to neutral by September. As of yet, the atmosphere has not responded and no reinforcement has taken place. twice the atmosphere has spurned the ocean's advances. Let the be an end to it for a few seasons.

That’s promising heading into next winter. I wonder about the dynamics behind the atmosphere and the lack of coupling to the El Niño conditions. A bit beyond my scope of comprehension.

High of 17.3° today,nice to see considering EC's forecasted high of 13°, once I saw mainly blue sky this morning I knew it was going to be over 15° and another shorts day.

Not a bad deal, considering how the last two Aprils were like old school Novembers. I recall just moving into our 5th wheel RV with my wife last April and shivering through each night and morning.

* WIND...Southerly 20 to 35 mph with gusts 40-55 mph.

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS...Bellingham, Friday Harbor, Oak Harbor,
Mt Vernon, Arlington, Everett, Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue,
Bremerton, Shelton, Olympia, Quillayute, Hoquiam, and Ocean
Shores.

* TIMING...Winds will increase late Saturday morning and peak
during the afternoon hours. Winds will diminish Saturday
evening.

* IMPACTS...Winds will make driving difficult for high profile
vehicles. Weak trees or small tree branches may be blown down
and result in local power outages.
