The GFS was showing cooler trends but has fortunately come around to more mildish rains after next weekend. I saw fortunately because I know many on here enjoy +11C and light rain.

This is typical of a Nina-ish winter which is backloaded in the JFM period. You are setting yourself up for disappointment if you are looking for snow and cold in the models right now.
is on the menu for another 2 weeks. May as well enjoy the inversion now.

This might be the thickest fog of the year that I was driving through today in Langley/Surrey. I was wanting to go on a run this evening but I feel it's too risky.
