Perhaps try some water lilies this year.

May frost is pretty unusual in the LM, so I would say probably not. Then again, it has been a cold spring, so if it is going to happen, this would be the sort of year one would expect it to happen.Granddaddyp2233 wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 11:53 pm Any chance of any more frosty nights? Fun! but not as good as Pi day unless there's food...SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 3:22 am To all my weather pals.

It's a wet and chilly 7c @ the pond in south Sardis.
I've covered my plants with a tarp or plastic over night if it's supposed to get frosty unexpectedly. All they need at this time of year is some light cover and it will keep them safe.Granddaddyp2233 wrote: ↑Tue May 03, 2022 11:53 pm Any chance of any more frosty nights? If they're really delicate or expensive I'd wait, just to be sure.
This very true Ms. Munchiecreeks perhaps a snickers will hold you over for now.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 12:23 pm Fun! but not as good as Pi day unless there's food...
Oh, goody, a dry summer. Was worried that with this cold wet spring we'd get gypped out of a decent smoke season this August and September. /sarcstuffradio wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 9:30 am Here's the newest Seasonal outlook via ECMWF.

I've seen a model showing a dry June/July but a wet August.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 11:58 am Oh, goody, a dry summer. Was worried that with this cold wet spring we'd get gypped out of a decent smoke season this August and September. /sarc
