But what if we get warm snow instead in many areas instead of cold rain. Is that possible Nito? 925s at 1-2c but surface temps cold enough for wet snow still?
ECMWF and GFS both are now programmed that water freezes at +2.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Hawk wrote: Sat Jan 01, 2022 7:24 am It will be fine...cool and wet at worst. 925s cool right back Monday..looks like snow right Nito? :x :x
EC still has up to 10cms at "higher levels" in the Vanc forecast thru to Sunday morning..then goes to relatively bommy showers/rain for the next 3 days.  Seems weird to warm up so much. Not sure what they are looking at. Maybe they are right..or wrong?

Get up Nito we need your analysis here. We know the 925's will be 1-2c. But what about Monday+?

Also, no sign of WP's update is usually not a good thing either

Yeah , EC has also removed my storm watch warning and replaced it with a wind warning, that sucks , not even an overrunning event. High winds usually translates into much less precipitation, but wind warnings sometimes bust as well.

 is it too late to bring back December Gumps, l've got the time tunnel that T4 left behind or are we lost in space on gilligan's island, with a forecast out of the twilight zone.
Perhaps we might have to take a voyage to the bottom of the sea to find out.

Yeah that explains it, they've even, warmed the central valley to temps. that Victoria was supposed to see this week, not only that Hope has the central valley 's temps. now.
And the winter storm warning reads like something out of a Alfred Hitchcock novel.
