Arctic fronts always race down through the Cariboo and Chilcotin plateau. Then often encounter difficulties (Coastal Mountain ranges) once past Clinton.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 11:07 pm So next station to watch Ashcroft? can't think of any station to the west of Clinton very poor coverage actually Ashcroft is like Lillooet just temperature humidity l believe very poor instrumentaton.

Horrible trades lolForrest Gump wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 11:26 pm It was nice of the canucks to kick off the weekend with 2 big trades, and acquiring another Pettersson to complete the hat trick.

I get the fact that you might and a lot of people perceive it that way. However the president, and many others trashed these players. It made it easier for other teams to offer up scraps. We literally brought down any value they had, let alone any team considering he put up 100 points lol. It’s Sh*tty, but who truly ruined this? They both signed good $ deals knowing they didn’t like each other.. they didn’t care about the fans.. and for the president to confirm everything was true that media kept speculating is insane too. We drove both there market values down. We weren’t dealing from a positive position, take what you can at that point. I do want to say one last thing, if the pressure wasn’t immense or huge if Petterson fails now.. well god damn we are truly …. Rutherford took away all his excuses now.

Rutherford definitely lowered the value by bringing up the rift days prior. What I mean by the trade is bad; we flipped a first-round pick for a defenseman. Don't get me wrong, he's a good stay-at-home defenseman that the Canucks sorely need, but we lost a 100-point player and center, and now we have a massive hole in the top six that is being filled by a 20-point player. The team won't make the playoffs with how bad the top six looks, especially with Boeser on the way out. Clearly, the goal isn't to make the playoffs, but to hopefully go big-game hunting in the offseason with $23 million in cap space to fill the needs. I will say, we did trade away three of our offseason signings that didn't work, but that's a tough sell to other free agents signing in the summer.Granddaddyp2233 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 7:33 am I get the fact that you might and a lot of people perceive it that way. Oh man, the fact that Rutherford said Pettersson needs to mature... and now the pressure is at an all-time high. Don't be surprised if he starts getting booed if he doesn't start playing well. They did this for him, so Pettersson better wake up.

I fully agree with you, and sadly Miller did not impact the way Petterson skated or played etc. Petterson will not be the same due to his tendinitisWeather101 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 7:40 am Rutherford definitely lowered the value by bringing up the rift days prior.
