It's fun for weather nerds, but seriously if Winters are that important to you you need to make a choice about where you're living. Most people have bigger concernsWeather101 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 5:57 pm I can't feel bad for a guy who hypes up every winter to be 1950.. He sets himself up for disappointment when the models are literally showing no such thing. It's different if a huge dump is expected and the rug pull happens, Sure I'd feel bad. It's just why set yourself up for this year in and year our? Then swear and call people out when they are simply saying " I don't see that in the models"
Honestly reminds me of a child.

Dramatic lighting of a snow shower over the North Shore at sundown today. Snow is about 8" deep on untrod grassy areas.

Eh, I respectfully disagree. To each their own.Weather101 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 5:57 pm I can't feel bad for a guy who hypes up every winter to be 1950.. Side streets are definitely developing that shiny gloss to them this evening. We'll have some slick roads in the morning.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Already overperformed here, EC calling for low of +2 currently 0.4c in Sechelt.
Still have about 14 cm of snow on the ground and it now has a crunchy crust on it. EC calling for +5c and showers tomorrow, wondering if I'll add to my 14 cm or if it will all wash away.

I realise now I didn't upload the version with the most striking colours. That's the problem with thumbnails.
