Temp +0.2C and steady.
Same and its still snowing. I may be around 10 cm now. Not sure as I have not yet measured it. Maybe I should get off the models and do that?

Yeah its rare for me to score in marginal setups. But the rain quickly changed to heavy wet snow this afternoon and its been snowing since. :D

The only frustrating thing is that I had around 30 mm of rain prior to the changeover to snow. Imagine if we had a low take this track last January when it was -10C. :wish: :wish: :wish:

I have never seen such a large amount of snow in one day, especially at that station - which normally gets far less snow that coq summit. Not sure if there's a reporting error there or not? The summit has received 53cm int he same time. And by looking at this photo, I cannot doubt those numbers

I Believe it ArbeMan. This was a Simlkameen Legendary set up. About 25kms E/SE from there my cabin lies..nestled amonst the mountainous terrain, in a slight "summit" area. There has been about 50cms there since around 5am today. Yes thats in only 12 hours. This amount of snow in a usually drier climate is 1/20 1/30 years is my guess. Maybe its a record even. Go LaNina go! What do the young kids say in the snow...I'm Stoked!

Started raining at 2 pm, a bit of mixing after that. Unfortunate since I was hoping to take the kids sledding. Oh well, up at Cypress with them tomorrow. It's going to be a zoo!

Wow, nice score! I seem to recall that both of us had basically nothing earlier. How things have changed!

Ended up with 22cm of concrete here. Although it rained on it later this afternoon before I had a chance to measure. Trees down and power outages all of the place as this was some of the heaviest snow you’ll ever see.

for once, it seems like in a very long time, fropa didn't lead to drizzle, rain, precip shut off or warming. Instead, lots of moisture in behind with plenty of snow in the eastern burbs and valley. Yes!

And we have AR events, what is it called when its a AS event? Atmospheric Snowstorm?
