Looking towards Mt. Cheam, you can't even see Cheam l was hoping we'd avoid a smoke fest this summer but no cigar. :w101: if it wasn't for the smoke it would have been an amazing sunny last day of 30c plus in the central valley.

And only a few blocks away from my secret free parking spot  , one of the few blocks in white rock where it's not resident parking only, especially this close to the beach, 2 blocks from East beach. If anyone wants to avoid pay parking and doesn't mind a little bit of walking it's on Ash and Finlay ,just up from Columbia.
Perhaps a Corporal Goose disguise a pair of bolt cutters and a Philips screw driver might do the trick for calibration skipper. :wtf: :shifty: :o or you can stick to the slim shady version of will the real Wrinkle Rock temperature please stand up.

Great photos. I miss seeing the North Shore mountains.

If we only have a couple of days of smoke, I'm not complaining...course that's easy for me to say as today was pretty much smoke free in Roberts Creek.

The moon was shockingly red tonight. I tried to take photos on my camera and my phone and it colour corrected, of course you don't have a red moon... sigh. I had the last laugh because I fixed in photoshop...

and a smoky sky complete with powerlines. No smoke smell but I could see all the particulates in the flashlight beam.

Perfect moon color yes that's the true color in the central valley as well.
I tried backing off on my cell shot but it never shows the actual colour. So the phone auto corrects the colour? I didn't realize that so l need to photo shop to fix? Ms. Justanotherperfectpicturecreeks.
BTW l feel much better l'm not the only powerliner photo taker, but you usually take yours out? your smoke looks much less than the central valley.

Mine do seem to autocorrect the colour and sometimes they decide it should be some totally bizarre shade.

I use photoshop because I'm a graphic designer at times and am familiar with it, so it's easiest for me to use. There's probably other programs out there you could use...or apps in new speak. There may even be something you can change on your phone so it stops 'helping' out, like turning off autocorrect.

Had to look around to find some powerlines for you   if it's an important photo, I do take them out but we just don't have a lot fo them out here in the country.

It was much less here. Now the smoke has cleared overhead, I can see a white moon and star/planet but it smells smokier. Weird.
