Re: June 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
10:50 pm and the sky is still light! Another week and then it all goes dark.
I looked up and saw four planets in a straight line, until one zipped off. Thought it was a Sardine UFO but it kept going, must have been a satellite.
Five planets plus the moon will be lined up June 23 - 25: https://www.timeanddate.com/news/astron ... nment-2022

Re: June 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Heard this story airing live on RNZ (yes, I was listening to NZ on the radio… shortwave) yesterday evening. Here’s the Web version of it.
Note that the winter they are talking about is the Southern Hemisphere one just commencing in NZ.

...from the headline:
In Western Canada, the Pacific cooling pattern often means snow. And lots of it.
...Well, where was mine???? though I guess 46 cm isn't bad for a winter, it just didn't seem like enough.

Yeah, you got the short end of the stick the past season compared to nearly everyone else. Better luck next time!Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 12:35 pm ...from the headline:
