It will melt literally the minute the sun comes out! Not to worry. Warmth is coming.Leighbugs wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 4:56 pm The snowfall warning is just Coquitlam and Maple Ridge? Ugh. I'm ready for sun and warmth. If anyone wants to take my snow, go right ahead. I am not amused.
Actually, I kind of am just because of how rare this is so while I'd prefer NO snow, if it's gonna happen make it a big enough deal to matter and set a record and then be on your way, snow! Make way for spring!

Almost 25cm on April 7th/8th, 1929 at the old downtown Vancouver station. No hourly observations back then but it likely all fell overnight and early morning.Canada Goose wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 5:50 pm

Re: April 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
This is some of the most impressive troffing i can recall. #tat and plumetting snow levels considering the mid April sun angles.
The continual instability, with tons of virga, day after day makes for some amazng scenery if cloud gazing or sky watching. Smoke a j and u start trippin right out lol
Where is Jr? Has he quit the forum?
Cant imagine a "snow weather" geek like him would disappear for any other reason

It's looking like it will. Looks like Comeback Catnip could be a big winner and catch up to Montys 5cms. Is it the Mundy Park snow belts turn tomorrow? Could this overproduce with flurries..heavy at times in the hills?
