Three record cold temperatures in the past month. Yesterday's -1C is not on this graph, but was the 4th coldest Aug 23rd on record...

Nice stretch of weather coming up

Enjoy the outdoors before the winter rains

Does anyone think another lockdown is imminent? Hospitalizations or back up to 11
I think we will by the end of September tbh, It all depends on how the hospital numbers are doing. The whole point of the lockdown was to keep hospital numbers low. 11 isn't bad at all, Out of like 900 active cases ? Seems like most cases now people are able to just ride it out at home.

12z GFS shows temps struggling to hit 15C with rain showers on labour day as a cold trough slides down the coast to break the dry spell.

Well this has been a nice summer. Some warm, some cool, lots of in between. Nothing too extreme is what I like to see.

Perfect summer in my opinion, I dislike the heat so it was nice to have a summer that felt pretty average.

Not so fast.

00z GFS has done a complete flip and pumps a massive ridge just off the coast for the long weekend. Hot and dry!
