12z wasn't a good run for those wanting crazy cold, however it was a decent run for those wanting snow.

I didn't mind it.

12Z keeps us chilly with a chance of snow for a week. I will take it!
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

I liked it better than the 6Z. Blocking configuration looks more sustainable. FWIW. GEM looked pretty good. I have a good feeling about something around day 8-9

Models have yet another burst of warming in the stratosphere around the time of the pattern change. This could very easily be causing the chaotic flip flopping we are seeing in the long range.

I think in general, another Polar Vortex disruption would end up going in our favour. The longer we can keep the vortex weak the better.

But it does make predictability in the long range nearly impossible.
