Oh wow l was in Maple Ridge at the time l didn't think it was that much.
I guess we transitioned to rain after that?

Typeing3 wrote: Fri Nov 26, 2021 8:03 pm IIRC, snowfall amounts were pretty uniform across the city, and I ended up with over a foot (think about ~35cm) here in east Coquitlam. @Catnip, do you remember how much you got?

I've found pictures back to the January 2007 snow/cold event, but unfortunately not sure where the earlier ones are. :(
I’d need to do some “digging” to see if I have any info.

I’m thinking we might see a shot of cold air in the next 10 days. Maybe not an arctic outbreak but things have that look to them that we might see some continental influence when the jet retracts

I don't see an ensemble that's coming close right now. If anything they're going right back to a GOA vortex pattern. The east got the first shot, pattern reset afterwards.

Totally. I'm just calling it like I see it at the moment. Hopefully we get there eventually, maybe even before February.

Important to note sometimes the Op will latch on to an abrupt pattern change before the ensemble. We’ll see.

I agree but the ensembles are quite convincing and consistent as opposed to these volatile operational runs which are giving us whiplash. If operationals were becoming consistent then I would definitely be more convinced.

The similarity between the Euro, ICON and GEM tonight is interesting.
