I mean in his defence they wind themselves up.. saying 1860 or 1950 then wizard literally gets depressed because he sets his expectations to the moon. They do it to themselves every single year I don’t understand why.

If you disagree with their crazy winter in coming they attack you so..

I also would note that they themselves dish out much worse than anything Nito would do.

On this day in 2006, YVR picked up 18.4cm of snow with a high/low of 1.3c/-2.5c. Storm total was 28.6cm.

Meanwhile, YXX picked up 44.1cm of snow with a high/low of 0.2c/-5.5c on this day in 2006. Storm total was 53.5cm.

Personally I'll never forget how much of a surprise it ended up being, considering on Saturday (Nov 25th), EC had only predicted flurries. Can't replicate the feeling of seeing the fairly sustained heavy wet snow through the evening and realizing the forecast had busted in a good way.

I don't know about us forking the winter but I think it's time Canucks forks someone. What a disaster.

IIRC, snowfall amounts were pretty uniform across the city, and I ended up with over a foot (think about ~35cm) here in east Coquitlam. @Catnip, do you remember how much you got?

I've found pictures back to the January 2007 snow/cold event, but unfortunately not sure where the earlier ones are. :(

I don't spend too much time on the AF, because the discussions tend to separate from weather and go off the rails.
