I moved to a neighbourhood with a reputation of being something of a snow zone. As pornoman says: “Gimme!”

Yet more hints of an “interesting” December.

Law of averages. We are going to see an extended period of cold....

...fake cold with ridging over head.

:14clown: range continues to show ridging overhead.

Temperatures could bottom out near -10C the surface while being +20C on Mount Seymour?

Snow wizard? He is mildly entertaining lol. It's funny to see it go from his wildly optimistic posts to the "kill me now" types in an endless see-saw battle of crazy.

The analogues are my favorite.

These should be taken with a grain of salt as 1950 and 2008 will pop up In a given period during Nov-Jan. 1950 kept popping up last year and we all know how that turned out

Just based on the signs alone I think this has a shot at being the winter of the century so far. That feeling is a bit dampened by negative QBO / cold ENSO aspect, but we have overcome that for cold / blocky winters before. No doubt we have checked many of the boxes that lead up to some of the all time greats. Can't wait to see what happens.
Winter of the century

I think there were more signs last winter was going to suck early on. Zero hints of anything good until January.
