Tocchet not happy, figures he had at least a half dozen passengers, he's not sure whether they knew it was a playoff game, ouch. Gotta love him, tells it like it is. And you might as well call Petey the $12 million dollar invisible man. And yet..and yet..they still tied it with a chance to pull a win out of the hat.

Sure hope I don't have to write a new version of Money for Nothing and Pucks for free. If Petterson doesn't live up to his humongous big new contract it will be Rutherford/Allvin's fault. Petey had every intention to wait till the season was over before talking contract, but it was management who put pressure on him and his agent to re-sign after the all-star break. And it looks like they'll have to be very careful with other free agents, especially Hronek, so far he's proving he's not a playoff performer, most definitely not worth the $8M per that he's seeking, not sure of he's even worth $6M. They also might not be able to afford ufa's Joshua and Big Zee.

It's really quite an accomplishment that they have won 6 playoff games so far without Demko, a sleepy Petey, and Coles own goals + giveaways.
I think there are only a handful of NHL players that are worth over $10M, McDavid, Draisaitl, MacKinnon, Kucherov, probably Makar, and maybe Quinn Hughes. Even with all his goals not sure if I would put Matthews in that group.

Look at Logan Stankoven of Dallas, 21 yrs old, 5'8", only 24 games under his belt going into playoffs, and he's already a pretty good playoff performer.

I hope Bono is ok with all the canucks talk after a Canucks loss .

Stankoven scored tonight, Bones is good probably whooping it up at the YVR lounge. Pete's is definitely not "C" material l was surprised when Q was named captain but at least his interviews have been good to me despite how quiet he is.
