Between my wife and I, I call the "June gloom" Toby Flenderson weather. Toby Flenderson, the HR rep from The Office epitomizes a bland bureaucrat. From the way he talks, dresses, his mannerisms, he's just...meh. That's what that marine layer is: bland, dank, meh weather. For those not familiar with The Office, this reference will fall flat.

haven't seen it but an excellent reference all the same, but the afternoons turn out not bad if you can sleep in till noonish kinda hazy again though made it up to 24c out here in corn city.
