Some weather stations in Langley are reporting only ~20 mm when combined yesterday and today. It seems like the weather system will stall here for the majority of the day though? At least that's what I think Chris Doyle tweeted.
What are people's thoughts on the discussion we had one or two years ago about the theory that if we get an atmospheric river event, within 1-2 weeks after that, it would turn cold. I don't remember who came up with the theory and if it was only supposed to start in October or November or December. Let's see if that theory turns true again

Starting this Saturday we will be losing at least 1 less second each day until we start gaining day light! We're only a couple weeks away from switching to Standard time so it will be quite dark. I'm excited to talk about cherry blossom season again
