Some weather stations in Langley are reporting only ~20 mm when combined yesterday and today. It seems like the weather system will stall here for the majority of the day though? At least that's what I think Chris Doyle tweeted.

What are people's thoughts on the discussion we had one or two years ago about the theory that if we get an atmospheric river event, within 1-2 weeks after that, it would turn cold. I don't remember who came up with the theory and if it was only supposed to start in October or November or December. Let's see if that theory turns true again :)

Starting this Saturday we will be losing at least 1 less second each day until we start gaining day light! We're only a couple weeks away from switching to Standard time so it will be quite dark. I'm excited to talk about cherry blossom season again ;)

" If we don't get those cold intrusions in BC/Alberta in December, then we can be looking at a record-breaking warm winter."

Good watch by Tyler Hamilton. Explains it's not a typical El Nino.
December is our chance. After that, it's 🍍

It is truly a beautiful morning.

Sunny, dry weather is not the only form of beautiful weather.
It's called clown range for a reason.

75.4 mm storm total so far.

Looks like the heavier precip has lifted a bit north of the area.
