My B.S. detector just want off. I would expect at least six times that.
Update: Wikipedia says 43.8 cm.

It's called clown range for a reason.

That certainly seems more reasonable. I wonder where they get the 5.4 from?Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:29 pm My B.S. detector just want off. I would expect at least six times that.

Glacier would be a good authority on this I’d think.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
What’s a moved decimal point between friends?
Update: They’re hyping up the dryness, too. Kamloops is actually drier (though a notch colder in winter). There’s cactus in the hills around Kamloops.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Funny i was just saying to Monty that those 15-30cm snowfalls happen every once in a while and bammmm! I been tracking this Low for about 4-5 days now.
I think this will be the 4th time this year already there has been snowfalls ~30cms

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Too be honest, Abbotsford is due for a marginal event to produce. But I have to work 930-230 so I will miss most of it.

Re: December 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
And this is a very marginal set up, but 1/2 of the snowfestivals around here are anyways. Even when we have arctic air in place, sometimes we get screwed over with 1cm of snow...then rain, when snow was forecast. Speaking of which, why oh why couldnt we have some arctic air in place for this storm? Such a rip off.
Arctic air north of 100Mile all winter so far
