Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
I prefer snow at temps of -10ËšC or colder, the kind the squeaks. Was a real treat to get some last year.

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Maybe we can bump this north a bit have a couple days of heavy snowfall before the Pg high strengthens and shoves in that -24C air the gem is promising

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Really wouldn’t take much for that to be a huge snowstorm here. A couple of notches further north and were in the money

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Hmmm. Seems to be a pretty unstable air mass today. Lots of cumulus out there. Maybe some surprises coming later...I'm calling on heavy isolated showers or flurries..maybe some hail too.
What you think Nito? WP? Anyone?

Re: February 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
My zone forecast says chance of rain after 4:00 pm, which given the radar pattern (showers pretty far to the west in the Strait of Juan de Fuca) seems reasonable. In fact, given the radar, I’d expect showers in the late afternoon or evening hours whether or not the official forecast calls for them. May get some small hail if I’m lucky but I will be surprised if I see any snowflakes. Just too warm.
