You mentioned Hook lake a few weeks , I almost went fishing there about 10 years ago but went somewhere else. I have looked at many maps and bc fishing books over the years, there's not many lakes I haven't heard of before, especially the Merrit area. The closest lakes to your area that I've fished before is Bluey lake and Rampart lake. ;) :shh:

Don't worry , this is not a fishing site , nobody will be going to your secret lakes. I prefer to go to sun peaks and camp in luxury at one of the condos, several lakes to choose from up there.

Technically 5 pts, they lose in every tiebreaker category.

If the last few GFS runs verified, Comox, Victoria, Shawnigan Lake would all be close to seeing a record dry month of March. Comox is looking very likely at this point.

Sounds absolutely horrible. Can't for the life of me understand wanting excessively heat in a climate that isn't accustomed to it. There's many trees out there that are close to dying from the last 7 drought summers or whatever it is.

Past few runs of the GFS have been showing a chilly start to April. Looks showery with temps hovering between 2C and 8C. Good news for the snowpack.

Hopefully a chilly/wet April will lock in a warm and dry May!

Been saying that we could see a very chilly start to April. Long range models want to develop a mega block due west over Alaska. Troughing over Western CONUS looks like a lock.

My guess is we see some April snow.
