McCoilers in total disarray. Someone needs to tell them that Tank for Bedard was last year.
Where's Port Kellsie? Nibblin on spongecake? Watchin the oil bake? Must be busy moonlighting playing his six- string ,while canucks keep doin' their win thing. McWhiner still looking for his lost bucket of goals. I think he claims that there's a referee to blame, but we know it's his own fault
He just can't handle Miller Time.
Not sure where Kells is perhaps getting his tabboganing run ready for our December slushfest as predicted by some members. Bones has been eerily quiet as well.
This is absolutely insane to see but it's awesome it's like a dream.

Pace so far this season for Quinn Hughes and Filip Hronek

Hey folks. Glad to see you guys are enjoying this early season positivity as much as I have!
We have a good team that can compete with the big boys. I definitely want to see some more dominating 5 on 5 performances but when the PP is overheating and Demko is godly you can't complain. The division looks tough with LA and VGK right up there with us so no chance to sluff off.
I like the Sens as my #2 team but I'd be more than happy to lay the boots to em tonight!
As for where I've been, I think the forum needed a break from me and often combative style, at least on certain topics. I can't seem to discuss weather without bringing the old climate change posts especially during our apocalyptic summers and that just causes massive issues every time. I've also been proactively dealing with my long covid and its definitely taken its toll on my body. I just completed a long fast that will hopefully yield major healing benefits physically and mentally.

Welcome back.
I regret the fact that one of the reasons you felt like you needed a break was due to the climate change discussions. It's unfortunate that we can't have these conversations and agree to disagree without all the drama. To be clear, I'm not at all accusing you of causing the drama. Rather, my point is that you should be able to share your views of climate change without any issue and likewise I should be able to do the same. The issue is that people are passionate on both sides of any issue in today's news, and it's unfortunate that it often leads to uncharitable arguments. I've just focussed on trying to restrain myself from sharing my views on subjects where I know a lot of people won't agree. I'd rather just not get into the debate if I think it's going to be unproductive. But it's not an easy thing to do and that's one of the reasons I was pushing so hard for people to keep the climate change discussions in the appropriate thread.
I'm having so much fun watching the Canucks this year. They look like a much better team compared to previous years. While I still believe we have a long ways to go before we are cup contenders, there are a lot of positive signs. Hopefully management is able to continue to improve the team and we can get to a place in a few years where we will be a legit contender. At the very least, I think we will make the playoffs this year. Hopefully I didn't just jinx it.
I'm so sorry to hear about your battle with long covid. That really sucks my friend.
Hopefully you have a quick recovery both physically and mentally. I always enjoy your posts and appreciate your input on here so it's awesome to have you back. You're just in time for a clown range arctic blast.

Defencemen with 20 points & +15 or better rating
through first 12 games of a season
1) Bobby Orr (1973-74)
2) Quinn Hughes (2023-24)
End of list
Quinn Hughes is amazing as is Cale MaKar who has more points than Bobby Orr did through his first 250 games.
I've heard they brought Bobby Orr into the NHL video games now.

Absolutely unbelievable, will Ripleys dedicate a whole chapter to them? They've been leaking oil ever since they got Canucked in the groin in that first game, where McWhiner blew a gasket and drysaddle lost his horsepower. Is oil nation throwing their McJerseys out the window yet? I'm sure their coach is gonna pay the price.
