And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

Not unusual to see some snow in June some years up there Deer. Is that second time this month? Looks like another pattern lock we been in long time again already. Warm and sunny, followed by cool troffy. Like a 50/50 split. :think: :think:

Holy Sh*t! My parents are coming on June 26 for 16 days and the forecast is looking horrible (as summer standards)... :x

Wasn't July 2009 when we had that massive thunderstorm? Probably the most intense storm I've witnessed in Abbotsford, though nothing compared to the storm I saw when I was in Orlando Florida.

Yep, we saw some severe t storms. Right after one of the greatest heatwaves in recorded history.

You’re new to the west coast aren’t you? Pretty typical looking June weather in the forecast. Summer doesn’t typically reliably set in until after the first few days of July.

This chart is for Seattle but it’s likely similar here. It shows how many times it has rained on each date over the past 122 years. Note the drop off between July 4th and 7th.
