 That's absolutely ridiculous Abby sr. I'm assuming tomorrow will be a tad cooler so that may stand for afew years perhaps.
This morning driving back to Chilliwack from Abbs there was dense fog patches from Sumas till just pass 3 road.
Any valleyites notice the many burnt median grass marks between the Sumas slough bridge and 3 road good size burn scars.
Nothing on the T.V. news but there was something in the local rag it happened monday.

Another beautiful Augtober day. Only 21.4 but plenty hot in the sun today.

The garden is still thriving, the beans are producing but have slowed down slightly and the sweet peas have rebounded.

SouthSardiswx wrote: Thu Oct 06, 2022 7:31 pm Isn't it strange how we go from provincial fires in the summer months to all these local fires in the GVRD in October. People all of a sudden careless perhaps, I'm guessing with the cooler mornings the homeless are setting fires 🔥 thus with the ground so dry it's setting blazes.
Another 9 days and in the Roberts Creek area our annual backyard burning is allowed   We can have campfires but I'll be interested to see if they allow bigger fires. Some of the 'lawn' plants are rebounding with the heavy dew, the clover is green and so are the dandelions but some of the shrubs have leaves that are starting to curl from the lack of water.

Helps ease the pain John, works extremely well in winter during our many many busted snowfalls.
