He set up the OT winner in 1982 quite nicely (it happens, I don't hold it against him).. https://youtu.be/ju1Gfa_muak?si=-Vv3rA-KhhSbkvnH

35 minutes into this video you see they interviewed the awards winners. Bobby Orr won Rookie of the year. Harry Howell won the Norris, and said he was thankful to have won because Bobby Orr is going to winner for the next decade. Which he would have done if his knees hadn't given out. Still, 8 is a record that still stands...

Bobby Orr was perhaps the greatest player in NHL history. It's hard to compare eras and positions, but you could certainly make the case... https://youtu.be/Au8acStAvzw?si=BxeAEiqBypX2PnTb

Nice find Glace perhaps 😳 a hard backhand off the boards behind the net.
Tough one to second guess slap shot off the boards to his left worst case scenario that clear right up the middle wrong choice.:dunno:

How about this interesting tid bit Glace l remember Dave Dryden but Ken stole the show for years with the Habs l wonder what Dave's record was.

Ken Dryden (Montreal) and Dave Dryden (Buffalo) would become the first brothers in NHL history to face each other in game action as goalies.

Ken had recently been brought up from the minor leagues and had 2 games under his belt in the NHL when the next game was to be against the Sabres.

As the visiting team, Buffalo designated its starting lineup first and listed Dave Dryden as starting goalie for the Sabres. Montreal coach Al MacNeil then designated Rogie Vachon to start in goal for the Canadiens.

After the game's initial stoppage in play, when Imlach was first allowed to make a change, he replaced Dave with Joe Daley. Dave and Ken would watch the game from opposing benches. However, early in the second period Vachon went down with an injury and Canadiens coach Al MacNeil replaced him with Ken Dryden. When Sabres coach Punch Imlach saw what was taking place he sent Dave out to replace Joe Daley.

Montreal would go on to win the game 5-2. Following the game, as Ken was skating toward his bench, Dave skated across center ice in Ken's direction to meet him and they shook hands, circa March 20, 1971.

That's a great one!

I just saw this one. I wasn't familiar with this player. I really great tribute to one of the NHL's greats. He's one of only two players in NHL history with 1, 000 games played and 1,000 penalty minutes...

That reminds me , back in the late 70's I saw Snepts and Ron Sedlbauer at the McDonald's on Granville & Smithe downtown. I guess I was sorta staring at them, so they gave me the glare , I thought they were gonna take my head off , . I suppose if I went up to them and started saying To all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun, they'd have good reason, especially if I asked Sedlbauer if he had seen the latest episode of the Twilight Zone..
