Re: July 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
Some impressive diurnal temperature variations for the first half of the month.
I haven't looked at forestry stations, but I know that Beaverdell and Valemount tend to have the highest in the province this time of year, so probably more like an average daily swing of 25 degrees at both of those locations.
And of course, Ashcroft has the lowest relative humidity in Canada.
when it comes to temperature, it has been very hot. Lytton has the warmest daily highs in Canada so far AND the warmest nights in BC. So you would think Lytton has the highest average hourly temperature? WRONG! Lillooet doesn't get as hot in the day and gets slightly colder in the morning, BUT remains near the daily high a lot longer in the evening, and thus a higher average.

I've come to the conclusion Tbro that your the perfect location that exemplifies a real metro Vancouver temperature. Rubes would be Vancouver city and your metro Vancouver inland YVR is just a wasted but needed for aviation only.

Hosting is getting ridiculous. My host tried to get me to renew for more than triple the cost of my previous contract, so they lost me.stuffradio wrote: ↑Tue Jul 16, 2024 7:15 am Yes we will see if there's a suitable host that's not too expensive.
As much as I like having my own site, I couldn't justify $15 a month just for a weather site. I could maybe justify up to $7.50 or so... otherwise, Wunderground is free.
