I work under a teacher who is the hardest working person, most respectable human I've had the pleasure of working for. What do you do in comparison? You troll a weather forum with utterly useless political trash that literally nobody needs right now. You must be so proud of your life's accomplishments
All the teachers at my son's school reported to school every day during the shutdown and conducted classes on line, touched base with every student to make sure they were ok and gave extra help to those students who need help. Today, after the much touted start up plan from the local school board, it was all for show. The situation was chaos and therefore, dangerous. I hope the BCTF keeps pushing back. My son and his teachers are not here to provide political entertainment for deniers.

You don’t have to quit posting, just keep it on-topic.

On and off drizzle hasn't done anything to improve air quality. Still socked in with smoke.

Can't help but laugh at this post.

Don't be so dramatic.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

I believe you did. But its ok...if you can just stick to on topic weather stuff here. We can debate other stuff over in the political forum. I wouldnt mind hashing out the issues in the right place with good intentions.

As to the weather, this is pure vomit. This smoke will be here for a while it appears. 4 out of the last 6 years with this crap.

00z then shows active W flow thereafter, followed by chilly NW flow to close out the month.

Given we're already in a Nina we should expect a wetter than normal fall. Hopefully the storm track sags to the south pretty quickly later this month to help douse the massive fires in Oregon and N California.

Eyes turn to Thursday night, if we can see thru the smog, for potential convection and a burst of heavy rainfall. Unusually high CAPE values and SE flow as that trough takes a bit of a negative tilt in some modeling.

Anything down south? Almost would rather it hit those Cascades at the moment.

I dont understand, this smoke model shows it going away today, coming back but not really the next day.

Why does EC have it in their forecast that we have widespread smoke the next 3-4 days at least??
