The island often seems to get the first round... the second round usually comes more inland.

Heard thunder, saw lightning. One of each so far in South Vancouver.

I was watching some of the live webcams around Lower BC and say some great lightning. Guess that's as close as we can get.

Thing that pisses me off about all the idiots posting on twitter, is they don't say WHERE the photo or video is from.. they just tag it #bcstorm. So it could be anywhere. Morons.

Re: August 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
Pretty decent thunderstorm, usually we get a couple of flashes and that's it's. 1 am and I can still hear it.
Also, it's still 20.5C outside at 1 am! Holding pretty steady.

I've only heard one rumble. Looks like we miss the fun? Or is more coming? I thought we weren't supposed to even have storms until tomorrow morning.

Re: August 2020 Forecasts and Discussions
I finally heard 1 thunder, but nothing yet. Had a huge downpour though. Now it's hot AND humid. Joy. If we get some damn thunder it would be worth it.
