Ya, it's a yearly event called 'slow slip'. It's probably preventing the big one from happening, but who knows.

How's that even possible.
I am here in Campbell River today. I haven't noticed any haze or smoke.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

That was according to Kristy Gordon on global news yesterday , she said haze in Vancouver harbour caused by a fire in that vicinity on the island. It all sounds weird with all the moisture and cool air we've been having.

Vancouver Island is in the early stages of a drought. It's been unusually dry there.

It's been pretty dry on the Lower Mainland, as well. There hasn't been much significant rainfall since February 1st. March is also running well below average so far. Some areas could be looking at top 5 dry March if we don't get significant rain in the final week of the month.

Seems Nov, Dec, and Jan I was commenting about the dry stretches we had as well, no significant precip since just before the big cold pattern set in back early Feb.

Interesting, I would have thought the snow and cool air would keep a lid on things.

You'd have to ask Weed 101 about those things he's good at lids and hot air growing equipment. :w101: :ganja:
